Dr. Scott A. Mouzon DMD is a native of Charleston, SC where the dreams of becoming a dentist started at the early age of 15. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1997 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002. After joining the United States Air Force and being commissioned as a Captain, he completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was stationed for two additional years while proudly serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Dr. Mouzon is licensed by the State of South Carolina; he is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Society.
Dr. Mouzon married his high school sweetheart, Tonya, in 1999. They are the proud parents of two handsome sons, Peyton and Parker. He enjoys spending time with his family participating in many outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, water sports, hunting, and fishing.
