Dr. Scott A. Mouzon DMD is a native of Charleston, SC where the dreams of becoming a dentist started at the early age of 15. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1997 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002. After joining the United States Air Force and being commissioned as a Captain, he completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was stationed for two additional years while proudly serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Dr. Mouzon is licensed by the State of South Carolina; he is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Society.
Dr. Mouzon married his high school sweetheart, Tonya, in 1999. They are the proud parents of two handsome sons, Peyton and Parker. He enjoys spending time with his family participating in many outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, water sports, hunting, and fishing.
Tammie
Front Office Manager
Tammie Sparks is our Front Office Manager. She has been in dentistry since 1991 and with Mouzon Family Dentistry since 2006. With 30 years of experience, Tammie is the first smile you will see and is excellent at answering all questions patients may have.
Tammie and her husband, Robert, love spending time with their son, Jarred and his wife, Brock and daughter, Jessica as well as many of their fur babies.
Tonya
Back Office Manager
Tonya has been working alongside Dr. Mouzon and his staff since the practice’s infancy to help with necessary bookkeeping and accounting duties. She also is very good at greeting our patients and helping in making them feel like family.
Her passion is health and wellness. She enjoys Tennis and Hiking and loves spending time with her two boys, Peyton and Parker, as well as their dog, Bella.
Laura
Dental Assistant
Laura is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and joined the dental team at Mouzon Family Dentistry in 2013. She graduated from Greenville Technical College in 2011. Laura is very good at tending to our patient’s needs and making sure they feel comfortable.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and family, watching college football and being outdoors.
Cheyenne
Dental Assistant
Cheyenne is our newest employee and dental assistant. Cheyenne was trained at Capstone Career Development Center in Greenville, SC. She acquired certificates in both Chairside Dental Assisting and Dental Front Office Administration. She really enjoys being a dental assistant because she loves helping people feel better about themselves, especially their smile!
A passion of hers is making quilts. She also enjoys hiking with friends and her dog, Maisie, a German Shepard mix.
Kim
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kim is originally from Charlotte, NC but moved to Seneca, SC when she was 6 years old. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Greenville Tech in 1995. She is known for always providing excellent dental care with a smile. Kim has one daughter, Ryleigh and a Goldendoodle, Max. She enjoys riding motorcycles with friends and traveling to the beach.
Angie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Angie, a South Carolina native, became a valuable addition to our team in 2023 after returning from Knoxville, TN. With 31 years of experience as a dental hygienist, she brings extensive expertise to her role. Angie resides in Seneca with her husband, Chris. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and antiquing.
